Y - Proposition is passing |
3 Comments:
Click on the "MAP" link in the main post for an interesting view of the vote distribution that shows the reason people say California is really two states. It is particularly striking to look at the vote on Prop. 73, the so-called parental consent for abortions for minors law (which was riddled with time bombs its proponents thought nobody would notice).
The Maine Lesbian/gay rights repeal initiative failed, 56% to 44%.
All of the other Maine initiatives passed, but in fairness, they were not citizen initiatives, but rather required referendums to approve legislated bonding proposals.
Maybe Arnie should move to Maine.
I loved looking at those maps! (I always love maps.) Orange County probably votes the exact same way as Oakland County.
Hey! They reversed the red and the blue!
Typical California thing to do.
